The Business Park is located on the edge of Cargenbridge village which lies 1.5 miles from Dumfries town centre. The surrounding area has undergone major redevelopment over recent years including implementation of additional infrastructure, expansion of Cargenbridge Business Park and development of the new Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary Hospital. Dumfries itself is the largest town in Dumfries & Galloway and has a population of around 37,500 and regional catchment of around 150,000.
