Whitlaw Road Industrial Estate is an established business area on the northern edge of Lauder. Lauder is a market town on the Southern Upland Way in the Scottish Borders, on the western edge of the Lammermuir Hills. This rural town has a population of about 1,800, a new primary school, a new health centre, community run leisure centre and gym, and is also home to Thirlestane Castle.

Lauder is only 11 miles away from Galashiels and Tweedbank, the region’s main commercial centre with a population of 14,000.
